Club run this Sunday - 25-01-2012
A club run alternative on Sunday 29th January.
Battered and bruised I crawled painfully home last Sunday, tail between
my legs, licking my wounds (not literally) but living to fight another day!
Even after watching the mighty Spurs get cheated by the dirty Manc’s.
So this Sunday I am willing to
take a pacier run for those who are looking to race, do sportives or just want
to get their head down. All are welcome, it’s not a race and no one will get
left behind……..but the idea is to keep rolling along as a group, at a good
pace, with a few climbs thrown in for the climbers and then a long flat drag to
Yalding for strength and speed work…Hopefully a good workout for those in this
group.
The idea is to leave the meeting
point 3-4 minutes before the steady group and arrive at the café between
11.20-11-30.
The planned route is down to
Eynsford, up Bowers Lane (climb) down Cotmans Ash, through to Igtham (climb),
back lanes to Igtham Mote, Shipbourne, Dunks Green, Rough way (climb), straight
on towards Hadlow, Laddingford loop, East Peckham, around the back of Beltring
and then into Yalding. Of course depending on time and conditions we can
lengthen or shorten the route.
If any of you fancy this then I will see you on Sunday………………………Terry Sowa.
