West Kent men wear the trousers - 07-10-2007

Rumourmill realised today that the men in the club clearly wear the trousers at home. Earlier in the week a spoof article was posted about gloves in club colours. Said gloves are actually washing up gloves or industrial gloves. One member who shall remain nameless read the article, looked at the pictures and still was unsure as to whether this was true. Rumourmill can only believe that Mr S.R wears the trousers but not the gloves at home...

Despite the route not yet having been published the club is buzzing with members keen to sign up to a Tour de France trip. Seems that numbers are up to 12. Terry intends to look at options in the Alps but has not yet ruled out camping in the belief that Mick and Gary will sign up no matter what the accommodation. A trip to the Tour of Flanders is also on the cards.

Terry's belief that bike mechanics is simply beneath him was evident at the cafe at Yalding today. Rumourmill spotted several club members looking over Terry's bike. Terry clearly had no idea about what was going on but was happy to let everybody else tinker.

A few members having had a bit of fun about washing up gloves did have a serious conversation about getting some gloves in club colours with the next kit order. El Presidente should maybe consider a bulk order of gloves in much the same way we did a bulk order of caps last time.
