Wednesday night time trials give em a go - 16-04-2008
For those in the club who fancy trying time trialling but who are put off by early morning starts why not have a go at the Wednesday evening tens on a local course. The evening tens may prove a useful focus for your riding and if nothing else they may just help to pick up your leg speed in a way that is not possible on a club run.
The rides are on the A20 and go through West Kingsdown to the top of Wrotham Hill before turning and heading back to Eynsford. You can turn up and enter on the line for just a couple of quid. There are usually a few West Kenters taking part - and if there are enough interested there is always the possibility of a beer after and a chat.
Meeting point is the layby a mile or so before Brands Hatch if coming from Farningham. There is parking at the layby or you can park in Eynsford to be near the finish. Some also park at the Horton Kirby cricket club which is also the venue for Bexley CC's club night that takes place after the riding has finished.
The race on the first week will probably start at 6.45pm. This changes over the Summer so best to look at the Bexley CC web site.
