Updates from the Hewitt cup clash - 22-09-2008
This weekend in addition to a club run, the club had members competing in a time trial on the Thanet Way for the Hewitt cup. Sign ups included Alan Brown, Pete Thomas, Graham Hines, Anthony Hitchings, Colin Record and Mark Wright (in team DCB colours). Alan was a no show at the start line - not too surprising as this required a very early start and a 50 mile drive.
With a start time of 7am, it was fairly chilly but also nice and clear. In some of the dips was a hint of fog. The times that I am aware of are:
Pete Thomas - managed a 59 something. This was achieved despite being limited to one gear as the cable had come unfixed.
