The Flandrians are out racing - 21-05-2009
Rumourmill has heard that El Beckitto our famous Flandrian sportive rider who does not yet have a carbon set of wheels will be making his racing debut at Hogs hill for the LVRC event next Thursday. With fellow Flandrians Terry and Laurie also taking part in LVRC events we could have the makings of a strong team.
Our favourite Flandrian Laurie is definately out racing. Having competed in the LVRC event last week he was time trialling at the Bexley mid week event with a time of 25.38. He is also intending to compete in the LVRC event this week.
Wednesday this week saw several West Kenters out and about in addition to Laurie. A team of three met at the Alma and had a ride through the lanes during the evening. Chris Gould intended to time trial but forgot his cycling shoes, Alan Brown was out wearing his cheerleader outfit and Anthony did the time trial with a time of 24.19.more news articles...
