Rumourmill on Land ahoy - 04-09-2007

Rumourmill was pleased to see Eddie Land out with the club on Sunday. Eddie was riding well and competing for the sprints and rises - at least those where Mark Morrison had not ponced his way to the front. You can always tell a sneaky rider by his ability to keep off the front and only appear when a sign appears. Mark seems to have been learning his trade well...

The club run this week averaged 16mph to the cafe. Rumourmill did notice that the increased speed led to increased complaints in proportion. It also led to club members trying to pick out the biggest and gooiest cakes. Don't think it wasn't spotted!

Gordon managed the medium paced group and will be looking to tie some elastic to Stefan who is riding well. Stefan's trouble is he doesn't know the country lanes and can't dive too far away from the others in case he misses a turn.
