Race round up - 15-06-2009

Morning race fans. There are a handful of race results to update you on. If you are aware of anybody else racing then send in the details and I will post an update.

Wednesday night had a team of three out on the Bexley course. Chris Gould posted 24.21, Anthony Hitchings 24.34 and Laurie Toombs a 25.16 (20 second improvement on prior times).

Alan Brown rode the VC Elan event on Thursday night and was caught up in a thunder storm. Peter Thomas faired better and posted a 22.28 for his quickest time of the year.

Peter is clearly riding well and in the Shaftesbury 50 on Saturday on the E2 he posted a 1.56.10. His all time PB is 1.55.57 posted back in 1998 so he is clearly turning back the clock.

Not so much luck for Peter on Sunday morning though on the Q25/8 as his seat rails sheared off ending his ride early. Anthony posted a PB of 1.03.10 for the same event
