Club hill climb - 20-09-2007

Guy's. If you don't know already the club hill climb is on Saturday 6th

October starting at midday and run on Speedgate Hill.

Peter Thomas is the event organiser and you sign and and pay your

money on the day. Sign on will most probably be at one of the cafe

tables in the yard.

Please arrive at the 'Stables' based on the farm at Speedgate by 11:30

at the very latest.

The farmer has indicated an area where we must park so as not to

affect the business's which operate from the site.

The club will have a marshall from the club directing you where to

park, please do as asked. To ignore the farmers request will mean we

cannot use that venue again so let's not be naughty.

If you can ride there then please do so. If you intend to come by car

please email Alan Brown over the next seven days to let him know.

The tradition has been to retire to the cafe after the event for tea

and cakes. The girls running the cafe have asked Alan for an idea as to

how many of you will retire to the cafe and whether you want to eat so

they can cater adequatley for us. So apart from letting Alan know

whether you will be going by car please let him know whether you will

a) be going to the cafe afterwards and b) whether you are a cake

person.

Your timely response and support of the event will be much

appreciated.

Please don't view the event with your bike beside you as this takes up

spectator room and or will clog the road. Lock bikes up outside the

cafe where allowed.

Please avoid impeding traffic on Speedgate hill before, during and

after the event.
