Claire wins Steyning triathlon - 02-05-2010
On a wet Sunday morning, Claire Hitchings took first place at the Steyning triathlon. In an attempt to replicate the swim length at the Worlds, Claire chose to compete in the full distance rather than her usual sprint discipline. This meant a swim of 800 metres, a bike of 36k and a run of 8k. Times are not yet to hand but Claire did win by four minutes. That may have something to do with all the transition training that has been ongoing of late.Claire transition training
