Contrary to rumours at the cafe, Rumourmill's mum is fine. Funny thing Chinesd whispers and how on a club run the simple phrase "mother coming to dinner" can be translated as "mother has died". You'll be pleased to know that mother's day went well as did the secret training on a loop near Underriver :-)

Alan Brown New Kent 10 mile TT record in a tim eof 23.57
Alan Brown won silver in the 10 mile time trial championships with a time on standard of + 6.52
Alan Brown took fourth place in the Kent "85" competition
